Following the concerns raised over the Costa Coffee sign that features a bare-chested woman with mastectomy scars, Pink News has published another of its highly misleading articles.
It's carried out on anyone of the age of medical consent, with a letter of recommendation from their licensced mental health professional. Saving up for mine! Super jealous of my friend's kid who doesn't have to worry about top surgery, bc they were lucky enough to get puberty blockers
This is what kills me about all this: the ideological capture of the professional associations. Even though I’ve learned that many actual practitioners may disagree with those associations’ positions, it’s often professionally (and/or personally) impossible for them to speak out, and so it’s the associations’ narratives that govern.
Your kid is right, maybe try listening a bit. Or don't, my parents didn't around that age and haven't talked to at least one of them since, now nearing 30 and still trans, despite a parent never coming around. It's their loss lol
You're not disagreeing with a choice, you are disagreeing with your child existing. From a trans person who heard the same tired bs from their own parents
I don't have time for anyone who doesn't respect my existence, and you cannot do that while simultaneously being unsupportive of my being trans, as one of my parents is. You're equating a silly little marriage with someone's sense of self

Intend to or not, you come off like a thick cunt
Now you're responding like a child who has a lot of growing up to do.
You're not disagreeing with a choice, you are disagreeing with your child existing. From a trans person who heard the same tired bs from their own parents
It'll help you to listen to what they're actually saying rather than reading between the lines like you just did above.

Supportive doesn't mean enabling. When you grow up, you'll know the difference.
